Countdown Timer
Set a target date and time to count down to. Watch the live countdown with days, hours, minutes, and seconds, and celebrate when it hits zero.
How to Use the Countdown Timer
Enter an optional event name and select a target date and time. Click Start Countdown to begin. The countdown updates every second showing days, hours, minutes, and seconds remaining.
Preset Events
Use the quick preset buttons to instantly set common countdown targets:
- New Year — counts down to January 1 of the next year
- Christmas — counts down to December 25 of the current or next year
- 1 Hour / 24 Hours — counts down from the current time
Progress Tracking
Optionally provide a Start Date to see a progress bar showing how much time has elapsed versus how much remains. This is useful for tracking project deadlines or event preparation timelines.
Share Your Countdown
Click Share Countdown Link to copy a URL with the target date encoded as a parameter. Anyone who opens the link will see the same countdown.
