How It Works

Upload one or more images, adjust the maximum dimensions and compression quality, then click Compress. Each image is processed locally in your browser using the browser-image-compression library — no data is sent to any server.

Compression Options

  • Max Width/Height — The image is scaled down so that neither dimension exceeds this value. Aspect ratio is preserved when the checkbox is enabled.
  • Quality — Controls the compression level for lossy formats (JPEG, WebP). Lower values produce smaller files with more visible artifacts. A value of 0.7 offers a good balance for most images.
  • Preserve Aspect Ratio — When enabled, the original width-to-height proportion is maintained during resizing.

Privacy

All image compression happens entirely in your browser. Your images are never uploaded to any server, keeping your files completely private and secure.
