How It Works

Upload an image, choose your target dimensions (either from presets or custom values), select the output format, and click Resize. The image is redrawn on an HTML Canvas at the new size and exported in your chosen format. All processing happens locally.

Preset Sizes

  • 1920×1080 — Full HD resolution, standard for desktop displays and video.
  • 1280×720 — HD resolution, widely used for web video and thumbnails.
  • 800×600 — Classic SVGA resolution, useful for older display targets.
  • 640×480 — VGA resolution, suitable for small previews and avatars.
  • 500×500 — Square format, ideal for profile pictures and social media.

Output Formats

  • PNG — Lossless compression, supports transparency. Best for graphics and screenshots.
  • JPEG — Lossy compression with adjustable quality. Best for photographs.
  • WebP — Modern format with both lossy and lossless modes. Smaller file sizes than JPEG at comparable quality.

Privacy

All image resizing uses the browser's built-in Canvas API. No files are uploaded to any server, keeping your images completely private.
